Como Ultrapassar Estados Depressivos sem Medicação

It has been proven that more than 2/3 of people at certain times in their lives develop conditions similar to what is commonly called depression.

Whether due to external influences, the death of a relative or friend, loss of a job, or due to internal influences, such as a deficiency in the production of certain chemicals in the brain, lack of self-esteem and self-confidence, due to an unbalanced diet or not adapted to person, finally, living on this planet, we are all subject to weakening and seeking support from what we do not know, from friends or therapists.

There are more severe depressions and others less so. I want to leave here simple tips that help you to overcome these less serious phases, without using medication or significantly reducing your consumption:

> The first and what I consider the most important is to try to stay focused, realizing that this is a saddest time in your life but that it is important to stay balanced, psychically stable and physically healthy in order to get through the storm more quickly.

It is likely that you tend to question more why you have to go through certain situations, which can be a good thing, but above all you should not despair, as we all go through more or less identical phases throughout life and not it's no use complaining a lot or surrendering to the role of victim.

 

> exercise moderately in green spaces or healthy environments;

 

> Try to meditate whenever possible, as meditation allows you to silence your mind a little and in that instant the body and thoughts calm down;


> try to eat mainly organic products, that is, without pesticides, avoid transgenic foods or those derived from them; these substances weigh on the kidneys, liver and brain, important organs for your well-being, preventing them from functioning properly;


> Try to eat more foods with Omega 3 (eg sardines, avocados, walnuts) as it has been proven to strengthen the immune system, control blood pressure, promote cardiovascular health and help treat depression.

 

> Avoid addictions that you know are not the healthiest (tobacco, food abuse, watching TV for hours at a time, etc.);


> another very important one is to spend more time with the people you love, with whom you feel good and even make new friends with people you feel have a positive and realistic way of seeing life;
 

If symptoms persist after some time and you still do not want to take medication, please contact us or a healthcare professional you trust. It's not a shame to need each other to overcome certain stages, it's just important that we choose to be happy.

With everything that happens to us in Life, we can grow and learn. That which doesn't kill us makes us stronger, says popular wisdom. Some of the most famous and successful people, known to all of us in the media, were people who surpassed themselves, who got up after a lot of failure, but believed that it was possible to turn around and are now happier.
