Ayurvedic Yoga-Massage is an Indian massage technique that, as its name implies, has its origins in Ayurvedic Medicine. It has been developed for some decades by Master Kusum Modak and her work has gained several followers, including in Portugal and Brazil.
Having its origins in Ayurvedic Medicine, this massage has a therapeutic range highly developed over thousands of years. This rhythmic, deep and vigorous massage uses sliding movements with the feet and hands, associated with stretching maneuvers from Yoga asanas, realigning posture, awakening vital energy, activating circulation and conscious breathing. The result is an enormous feeling of well-being, improved flexibility and range of motion, integrating the physical, psychic and emotional bodies.
